Description
The PICA is looking to procure and implement an integrated border management ecosystem (IBME).
The scope of the IBME should include all the processes, procedures, and technologies that should be implemented by border security agencies to enhance the management, control, and coordination of cross-border activities.
It aims to facilitate the smooth and efficient movement of people, and services across national borders while ensuring the safety and security of the nation.
The IBME should provide a holistic and integrated approach to border security, focusing on optimising efficiency, enhancing security, and facilitating legitimate cross-border movements as well as designed to enhance the transparency of border operations.
